We utilize the latest development technologies and proven methodologies for developing application-oriented tools for use in the Transportation and Safety sectors. Project Management & System Implementation
ITIS Corporation provides Project Management services for projects operating within the following areas: Traffic and Public Safety Management, LRS and GIS Technologies, Transportation Asset Management, and Real Property and Right-of-Way Management.
Project Management services may include direct supervision and management of our own personnel, DOT staff, or other external consultants and contractors. Project Management also covers a broad range of activities including planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, reviewing, and documenting all aspects of the project lifecycle. Additional activities may include feasibility analysis, requirements definition, developing and preparing requests for proposal, oversight of procurement and contractor selection, management of software development, prototype development, installation and training, maintenance and support.
Our Project Managers (PMs) are experts in their field with superior decision-making capabilities. They have many years of “tried and true” experience implementing systems for both state and local governments.
ITIS believes that successful projects depend on properly trained operators and staff. To that end, we provide training for virtually all levels of an organization, from director-level orientation to detailed user-level training. Training services are always custom-fitted to our clients’ needs.
ITIS applies an internally developed four pillar approach to strategically planning data design, business processes, organization, and use of technology. Our four pillar approach involves conducting best-practice and industry research; evaluating stakeholder concept developments; determining missions, goals and objectives; and preparing action plans. Action plans typically include prioritization of strategies, definition of tasks, determination of schedules and timelines, and development of project budgets.
ITIS Corporation provides feasibility studies, requirements definitions, needs analysis, concept designs, and prototypes for Transportation and Safety Management Systems. Any combination of these services can form the context and planning basis for implementing business change within our core domains of operation.
ITIS has developed sophisticated tools to perform data manipulation and data scrubbing, when cleaning and migrating data to different database architectures. The process involves any or all of the following activities and reports: requirements development, data quality assessment, database design, validation and cleanup rules for data conversion, legacy data migration, and tool development among others.
